Nelson College for Girls Important Dates 2024
Monday 27 January - Staff only day.
Tuesday 28 January - Staff only day.
Wednesday 29 January - Senior re-enrolment day (Yrs 11-13).
Thursday 30 January - Mihi Whakatau:
All Yrs 7, 9, 13 and all other NEW students (in uniform) welcomed with a mihi whakatau at 10:45am-11:30am. Whānau are invited to join from 10:45-11:30am. After this, whanau leave and students meet their Kaiarahi and get their timetables. Year 8’s start at 12pm and go direct to class.
New students Yrs 10-12 are released at 1:15pm
Years 7, 8, 9 & 13 are released at 3:10pm
The canteen will be CLOSED on this day.
Friday 31 January - Yrs 7, 8, 9, 13 and all new students to be here for a 9:20am start.
Monday 3 February - Anniversary Day - school closed.
Tuesday 4 February - All students at school for an 8:50am start.
Thursday 6 February - Waitangi Day - school closed.
Friday 7 February - School open-9:20am start.
